When and where do we meet?

Choirherence is currently on indefinite hiatus. It used to meet, generally on Monday nights at 6:30pm in the Emmanuel Parish Hall in Eastsound, Washington on Orcas Island, under the direction of Michael Hurwicz and Sharon Abreu. Please see the calendar page for more info!

Why are we called “Choirherence”?

Because we integrate the Quick Coherence® technique into our singing sessions. Quick Coherence, from the HeartMath Institute, is one of the fundamental components of The Connection Practice from Rasur Foundation International.

What is The Connection Practice?

It is a scientifically proven method for connecting to yourself and others, elegant in its simplicity and often awesome in its application. This method prevents bullying in schools, facilitates teamwork in nonprofits and businesses, and helps individuals live with greater harmony and creativity. It is just six steps that are practical, efficient, can be learned at any age and can work wonders in every arena of our lives. And there is an opportunity for you to get a taste of it after each and every one of our Monday night gatherings!
